Red butt Thread Frenchie 3 flies
The thread frenchie, one of Lance Egans nymphs. This fly mimics all sorts of mayflies you can find in your local waters. I always carry all three variations no matter where I am fishing. They are more durable then the normal Frenchie fly, they sink faster and are more durable. I’ve found the black body works extremely well in winter time conditions, Olive is great for late spring and summer.
The red butt Frenchie has a red holographic butt that grabs the fishes attention.

tied on FM barbless jig hooks, slotted tungsten beads, and lead wire.

Sz14- 3.3mm bead
Sz16- 2.8mm bead
Sz18- 2.8mm bead
